8th UNESCO Workshop on Bioethics, Multiculturalism and Religion
On Tue 20 Sep 2022, Dr Roland Chia spoke at the 8th UNESCO Workshop on Bioethics, Multiculturalism and Religion. The theme of this workshop was Religious Perspectives on Bioethics: Protecting the Environment, the Biosphere and Biodiversity.
The three-day workshop (20–23 September), which had participants from about 10 countries, was hosted by the Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. It was conducted in hybrid format with some participants speaking and attending online.
Dr Chia’s presentation was entitled Environmentally Sustainable Medicine: Reflections by a Christian Realist. This is the third time that Dr Chia has spoken in this series of workshops.
