International Workshop on Digital Theology at Durham University

Dr Roland Chia made a presentation at the International Workshop on Digital Theology organised by the CODEC Research Centre for Digital Theology held at Durham University from 2 to 4 September 2019. The title of his presentation was ‘Googling God: Some Reflections on Theology in the Digital Age’.

Participants from the Workshop were from Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, USA and the UK. They comprised mainly of theologians and scholars researching in various issues associated with theology or religion in the digital age.

Dr Chia was also invited to be a member of the Global Network for Digital Theology which was formed by the organisers during the workshop to explore future research work, publications and collaborations in this emerging area of theological reflection and engagement.
