Spiritual Formation

Essentially, the best theological education is about forming the whole person. It involves personal disciplines, communal interaction and relational competencies and this formation takes place in both structured and unstructured activities, in formal and informal settings.

Here at TTC, we believe that spiritual formation occurs both in the personal life of the individual and in community, in moving one towards wholeness and holiness. Some of the structures we put in place include:

  • Chapel services every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11.30 am.
  • Faculty-led family groups as contexts for mentoring, accountability and fellowship.
  • Field education placements and internships to develop relational and ministry competencies
  • Residential housing provide the context for experiences and opportunities to live in community

Spiritual formation thus involves the person, the community and the triune God. And this synergy is what we call the “TTC experience”
