Dr Roland Chia spoke at the international conference on ‘The Future of Faith: Religious Values in a Plural World’ organized by the Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS) on 7 November 2018. This conference was the culmination of the yearlong celebration of its 50th Anniversary.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong opened the conference that was attended by about 400 religious scholars and community leaders from Singapore and across the Muslim world. Other speakers included Shaykh Hamza Yusuf (President, Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies), Dr Ali Allawi (Former Minister of Defence and Minister of Finance, Republic of Iraq) and Dr Fatris Bakaram (Mufti of Singapore).
