Psalm 32
Of David. A Maskil.

EXPLANATION

Wisdom Saying

1 Upbeat is one whose transgression is lifted,

whose sin is covered.

2 Upbeat the human whom YHWH not accounts guilt to him,

and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

Crisis

3 While I kept silence, my bones wore out

through my roaring all day long.

4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me;

my strength overturned in the heat of summer.

Prayer & Rescue

5 My sin I will make known to you,

and my guilt I did not cover;

I said, “I will confess against myself

my transgressions to YHWH,”

and you, you lifted up the guilt of my sin.
