Chinese New Year Celebrations 2016

Inscribing Chinese, calligraphy, tossing Yu Sheng and enjoying fellowship over a sumptuous lunch, the TTC community gathered on 17 February (Wed) at the TTC Dining Hall for its annual CNY celebration. Led by the Community Living Committee of Jeremy James and Lei Chi Kin, the celebration program also consisted of table games for the participants to imbibe in the festive atmosphere.

The Vocation of a Christian Scholar

Professor Markus Bockmuehl gave a very inspirational and practical talk on ‘The Vocation of a Christian Scholar’ on 13 January 2016. What made it eminently engaging were the anecdotes, culled from the wide experience of Professor Bockmuehl in his many years of teaching biblical studies and supervising doctoral students.

The TTC “Cleaning Contingent”

John Wesley wrote, “Slovenliness is no part of religion. Cleanliness is indeed next to Godliness.” And so on Friday, 8th January 2016, TTC Family Groups of faculty and students set out to live up to Wesley’s adage, for if slovenliness is no part of religion, then more so it should not be part of a religious institution!
