Pressing on the Upward Way

“Keep on encouraging one another”, and “Do not neglect meeting!” encourages the writer of Hebrews 10:25. The TTC Graduating Class of 2016 (English Department) endeavoured to do exactly that when we met for our first anniversary on 15 May 2017, a year and a day on from our graduation.

Graduation 2017

TTC conducted its 67th Graduation Service on Saturday 13 May 2017 at Paya Lebar Methodist Church, with Bishop Low Jee King (the Anglican Assistant Bishop) gracing the service as the preacher. A total of 79 students graduated, including 5 in absentia. Of these graduands, 4 received the Master of Theological Studies degree, and there were 9 Bachelors of Divinity, 23 Masters of Divinity, 33 Masters of Ministry, 9 Masters of Theology and 1 Doctor of Theology.

TTC Chapel Offerings Donated to Charities

On Friday, 28 April, representatives from three local ministry organisations made presentations during the morning chapel service. Ms Neo Ai Ling spoke about Grace Mission’s ministry through gardening. Mr Steven Loh, Director of Mercy Centre, highlighted his organisation’s work with various poor and needy persons.

How much can we know about Jesus?

“How much can we know about Jesus?” was the talk at the TTC Multi-purpose Hall on Tue, 18 April 17, given by Professor Craig S. Keener, the F. M. and Ada Thompson Professor of Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary.

Inter-College Games Day 2017

Nothing bonds people together more than sweat, mud and a good, friendly competition. And it was a day of fun and bonding indeed, at the Inter-College Games Day on Friday, 3 March 2017. Held at Yishun Stadium, a total of five seminaries came together for a friendly race – Baptist Theological Seminary (BTS), East Asia School of Theology (EAST), Singapore Bible College (SBC), Trinity Theological College (TTC), and for the first time, Discipleship Training Centre (DTC).
